First Technshare and Now Introducing Blokube

Devesh is “A 16-Year old guy from India” who runs a successful, multi-author blog called as Technshare and his latest website is named Blokube. He's a brilliant young blogger who is has a clear vision about his business goals which are focused on the topics of “Blogging tips, Social media, Internet Marketing, WordPress, SEO, Make money Online”. It came as no surprise to me in October of last year, when Dev announced that he was launching a “social voting site dedicated to professionals in Blogging, Marketing, SEO, SEM, web development etc.,” – Blokube.

Introducing Blokube

The ideal of Blokube is to promote interaction between bloggers by “voting” with each others blogs. Interaction that builds up quality comments and interactive discussions.

The site lives up to it's mission by promoting quality content and offering a fast growing network of writers a chance to promote their work. Currently 500 members have signed up to take advantage of this awesome community. I joined Blokube the first chance I could and the experience has been positive and rewarding. Dev has recruited a fabulous crew of moderators and installed a custom theme equipped with anti-spambot software that make the article submission process quick and user friendly.

Reviews of Blokube

Take a look at what some notable bloggers and internet marketers have to say about Blokube:

Blokube is on the rise in 2011 and perhaps one day destined to success like other great communities I support like Blog Engage (which now requires a one time fee).

  1. Hi Ileane,

Awesome review here. Dev is just amazing! Blokube is growing raplidly and it’s the place to be.

Thanks for sharing this and for the kind mention 🙂

    All the best,
    Mavis

    Hi Ileane,

Thanks so much for writing about Blokube. Much Appreciated.
    Keep rocking Ileane 😉 !!

    Have a great day.

  4. Wow, that’s amazing. I’ve just joined Blokube and didn’t know it was created by a 16 year old young blogger. Somehow, I feel familiar as this site looks like BlogEngage, maybe it will become another great community for bloggers.
Thanks for sharing your reviews, Ileane.

    1. Hi Tuan,
Blokube runs off of the same software as Blog Engage called Pliggs. I’m glad you joined. Thanks.

  5. I need an invitation for blogengage if you invite me it would be great.
blokube rising too fast, wish i could write a review of it if i had a techblog or blogging tips blog 🙁

    1. Hi Vivek, I sent the Blog Engage invitation to your gmail account. Let me know if you received it. I’m sure your tech posts are welcome for submission at Blokube also. Thanks.

  6. Blokube is a pretty decent voting site. I registered for it just when it started and even though its traffic numbers are less than those BlogEngage is getting for example, there’s still a lot of interaction and voting going on. I can’t say I’m much active there – not at all honestly. Pretty much the only thing I do is submit my latest article after publishing it on my blog and some votes here and there for other interesting articles. It’s worth checking out and registering for.

    1. Hi Daniel, I’ll look out for your posts over on Blokube. I have to spend some time there later today. Thanks for the comment and the retweet.

  7. It amazes me how brilliant some people are. Blokube certainly sounds like it has a great future and growth potential. Devesh will likely see a large following develop from his latest project.

    1. Jessica, I’d like to think that I was brilliant as a child….just kidding. When I was 16 I was interested in computers but that was a long, long time ago! 🙂

  8. Wow, great guy, at only 16 years he did a lot, wow. Congratulations for him, brilliant idea with this ‘blokube’, thanks a lot for sharing. It will have a lot of success and will connect a lot of bloggers. I’m thinking of joining it. Cheers!

  9. I am truly amazed at how many talented kids are entering the blogosphere. Can I call him a kid? Well, at almost 41 myself I’m going to say yes. 😉

I joined Blokube today. It looks like the same platform that BlogEngage runs on, but I like the look and feel of it better (sorry Brian). It’s nice to seem some familiar faces over there, and to meet some new ones.

I also like the tweetmeme and stumbleupon buttons on the post summaries, and that they link back to our posts instead of the summary.

I know with people like you promoting it that it will be a success. You’ve always been such a great go-giver from the first time I met you. Keep up the good work.

    1. Hi Brad. Congrats on joining Blokube. I see this community growing every day and with Devesh at the helm it will only get better. Thanks – you always did call me a go-giver 🙂

  10. And who says that education among our young ones is out the window? Obviously there is still hope if a 16 year-old can teach us about a community friendly way to connect and share, without nearly as much spam as we encounter daily. Do you think this is going to become the forum to use amongst credible bloggers?

    1. Hi Sam, outside of the US many countries are doing a much better job of educating their youth in recent years. But sometimes a person is so highly intelligent that it doesn’t matter what kind of educational system they are a product of – they have a strong thirst for knowledge and they are destined for success. I see that in Devesh, and he is so kind an humble too!

BTW – I went to your site and I saw this gorgeous logo up in the header. I’m wondering why you don’t use the logo when you leave comments on blogs? If you have time, please read Establish Branding for Your Blog With a Gravatar. In addition to building a positive image for your brand, using a gravatar will also greatly increase the chances of your comments being approved, especially on DoFollow, KeywordLuv, CommentLuv blogs similar to this one.

Thanks Sam, and I hope to see you visiting again soon!

  11. Hey Ileane,

Thanks for the wonderful review of blokube. been having an awesome experience ever since I joined.

Ileane, can I get an invite from blogengage?

    Thanks!

    Tosin

  12. Hi Tosin, welcome to Basic Blog Tips! I’m glad you’re enjoying Blokube. I just sent the Blog Engage invitation to you. Check your inbox and let me know if you got it. Good luck.

  13. Blokube is growing really fast, I joined a month ago, it’s a great way to share your comment and interact with other bloggers

  14. Wow, that is impressive. Great use of pliggs.
Devesh is/was only 16 years young? Looks like this young man has a very bright future in front of him if he keeps at it like this. Maybe we are looking at a new Mark Zuckerberg.
