  7. Hello Sanket,
What a lengthy and interesting read 😀 . SEO is going down and with time, it will finally be extinct. Many bloggers and web masters who get caught by the Google updates are SEO experts, right? Love your post and do have a lovely weekend bro

  8. You forgot to mention an important and upcoming ranking update by Google, most probably in the 2nd half of 2013.

During SXSW in Austin, Texas, Matt Cutts has announced about a search engine algo which will “Demote low quality merchants ranking high in SERPs.”

It will be a revolutionary update from Google from E-Commerce point of view.

    Nice article, thanks 🙂

  10. Great post, thank you.

The info is really important, followed most of the given links, reading them at this very moment.

    So again, thanks.

  11. So… essentially everything gets more important while nothing gets less important?

Sounds like fishing in the dark to me…

  12. It is interesting to see how Google is weighing upon guest blogging to approve credibility of a blogger/blogs. Seems like the way to go from now. Thanks for the heads up.

  13. Hi Sanket,

I agree with you, that we`re going to experience more changes SEO. Last week Neil Patel already posted about the changes going to happen according to him.

Weight-age for Links from author bio may decrease. Author rank will gain more popularity.

Even the social networking may get advanced in tracking the profile rank, as it`s easy to get likes and plus ones from paid sources so Neil think that Google may also count social networking author rank.

Anyway it`s going to be more fun to see all quality sites.

  14. Thanks a ton for the post, you have shared some really good points, would implement it right away.I don’t know much about it, often I take help from my female friends because they know in depth. I really liked the point about Branding strategy.

  15. Fabulous Post; Thanks for Sharing! Agreed that due to continuous algorithmic updates, it is quite tough for webmasters to rank their site high on search engines! In my opinion Conversion Rate Optimization is one of the most important aspect to increase website conversions with effective manner!

  16. You cannot imagine how much time and money I have been spend to learn how to ranking my image… I never find one with so much good content like your post…

    1. Jennifer,

Keywords are somewhat very useful for the website promotion. Now a days keywords are replace with the partial matched keyword terms. There are many sites available who do not have keywords but they still optimized based on image & branding.

      Thanks for reading out!

    Hey Sanket,

You have a very well-written and informative post. Thanks for the updates on how to stay intact in SEO. There is no denying that SEO is evolving fast and the more it evolves, the harder it is to catch up. Having such updates will relatively help anyone to still be in the race. But who knows what will happen in the future of SEO. Thanks again for sharing.

  18. great post sanket, as google is rolling out new updates its becoming tougher to get high rankings and now guest posting is a nice way to keep yourself protected but that isn’t for sure

  19. According to your post it says,”…It has been predicted that by the end of 2013, more than half of the keyword referral data will not be available for the majority of businesses….” This is serious. This means that we as bloggers should stop putting emphasis on increasing the density of key words in our articles.

  20. Google continually on changing its rules and procedures for making a search page list. You shared really new things ,which belongs to SEO 2013.Thanks ,for sharing these.

  21. Hi Sanket , this is really a very useful article even for expert bloggers. The facts and the ample information provided by you is really useful and not easily available. Thanks for all this information.

  22. Google animals are real threat for blogger .. but for only those who implement BH SEO methods in their promoting and content creating.

Other than that their is no need to worry for these bloody animals. Considering the linkbulding I love guest blogging and article submission.

Considering the web analytic I have one suggestion for you, if you want to check all your website ranking in one place : Heatsync, here’s the review : http://blogvkp.com/heatsync-a-powerful-website-analytic-review/

  23. In about 2 years, in my opinion, Google will begin ignoring anchor text because they are manipulate too easily

  24. I am really impressed by this article as it contain valuable information on a topic I really like. Seo will always be an important part of our efforts, as bloggers, but I always consider that focusing on quality content will pay off on the long run.

  25. Excellent post! Very comprehensive and it covered a few areas I hadn’t looked at very hard before, but will give it a try.

    Thank you again!

  26. Hey Sanket What an Impressive Write up.Yes you have rightly mentioned that keyword referral may not be available to half of the online businesses.Keep up the good work

  27. Sanket,

I am making it a goal to become more “active” in not only the big social media sites but also lesser known sites with a solid base of users to drive traffic to my t-shirt blog.

It’s been a little slow going, but I am starting to notice a steady stream of traffic.

With many more algo changes coming in the future, blogs like mine, cannot rely on search traffic and have to find creative ways to drive traffic.

    Thanks you for sharing this.

  28. Hey Sanket , Really a nice post. What i liked most in your post is the impact of Guest Posting in the near future for bloggers. I agree that in the next few years google will surely define Guest Posting as the key factor to achieve high SERP`s.

But besides these , we always need to keep in mind that conetnt will play the major part as if your content doesn`t impress google bots then no SEO tricks are going to work for you.

Hope to see more articles relating this from you in the upcoming future.

  29. hi Sanket a very nice article…!
Google is more concentrating in its changing algorithms and working on the artificial intelligence to judge the quality content in the blog., there fore it is very hard to get a continous good rank in google’s eyes…
you’ve given very good exposure here sanket, thanks for the same..:)

  30. Wow Sanket,

That was great, it is really challenging to all of us to keep updated and stay ahead. Really enlighten me, and help me to anticipated upcoming SEO trends. Great share really Sanket.

  31. Too much worries and too much hard work, if you have a site that has been hit by the latest updates, and still want to try to recover, so focus on content, and high quality backlinks from authority sites. but a good way is to start clean with a new website and new domain name .

  32. Hi Sanket..Quite an interesting post….Most of the SEO concerns of 2013 are discussed here and it is great to see that you’ve suggested some interesting alterations to the currently popular techniques…Thanks for sharing this…Cheers.

  33. great Post and very important information ..i agree with you if we should be aware of advancement happening in seo .we should be update about the changes occurring in seo .thanks for your kind useful information and suggestion.

  34. Hello Sanket,

Google is ever changing and seemingly trying to get it right for the user. Above all I think good content can rule the day, but it takes each aspect of what you covered (plus a lot more).

I look forward to more of your seo postings.

  35. very true…it is the competition in the market for the same content that google has to update its algorithms to ensure that the quality content is always provided to the readers. Thus, it will always be taken into consideration by any of the google updates further also.

  36. From time to time, its evident that Google Algo is not giving much importance to most advance things like Directory, Article Marketing, etc. We all know that its significance has decreased a lot, but now, in this post Google Panda era all webmasters must stick to basics to win in blogging industry like Guest Posts to build backlinks, giving Giveaway on blog to gain popularity, etc. These are some of the best sure way to go parallel with all the future Google Algo updates.

  37. I am agreed with your point here. The person who don’t move with the latest market trends, never see any kind of success in the SEO field. Most of the marketers always recommend to deeply stay in touch with latest upcoming trends, and highlights from different niche.

Moreover, Google has changed the way we use to do SEO for our websites, and in the future the company will roll out more deadly algorithms to make their search relevant and clean from the spam.

  38. Hi Sanket,

You certainly touched upon a hot topic or as you’ve already stated, one that should be on every marketers mind for 2013!

SEO is a very ‘slippery slope’ to tread even without all the changes that increase this challenge!

You offered some pretty insightful info and tips on the subject and for that I’ve benefited and thank you!

Hopefully Google will go ‘easy’ on all of us this year … although that’s highly unlikely 🙂

Thanks for the information and the time it took to put this together!

    TJ

  39. The Panda & Penguin updates are def’ the most interesting updates to come from the Google algorithm since the birth of the internet. But it’s certainly not as scary as webmasters initially thought, essentially search is more about the consumer now. In theory it always was, that’s what Google always wanted but now things have actually been implemented.

  40. To be honest I no absolutely nothing about SEO (which is why I leave this subject to my guest posters) which is why I am glad to have installed an SEO plugin which (hopefully) takes care of the SEO stuff for me. 🙂

The good thing about these Google updates is that the scummy blogs are being knocked down which means the legitimate bloggers have a better chance of a good ranking.

  41. Thanks for making some of the best points here for making SEO campaign run successful and get minimum effect by google panda and penguin these are the best guidelines

  42. Great article indeed, but let’s remember these are only predictions and nothing set in stone to happen.

We all know Google is seriously campaigning for the use of quality methods concerning building ones website’s rank.

    That’s a fact!

Social media is indeed looking so important in engaging with and would love for Google to reward those that use it extensively, a better ranking for their piece of content.

  43. Thank you for a great article.
Though I have seen most of the content several times before, some times it is of great value to see it reworded. It’s worth to remember that without the teacher (you)even basic knowledge will remain unknown.
I will print out this article and use it as a checklist, for all my present and future blogs.

    Regards
    Joseph

  44. Great content Sanket. Content is always their prime factor to judge a blog so we must concentrate on content first and for link building guest post is better method. Thanks for sharing your views..

  45. Hello Sanket

Great Article. I am new blogger. Really i don’t know much more about SEO. I am trying to get more thing about it. Your post is really helpful for me. It is litle bit complex but nice.
