Wpkube a Resource for WordPress Bloggers

It's no secret that Devesh Sharma is someone that I admire in the blogosphere and I'm very impressed with the quality of the content he produces on his blog Wpkube. I talked about Devesh earlier this year when he started the now famous blogmarking community Blokube, and some of you might be familiar with TechnShare a popular multi-author blog from Devesh that focuses on how to blog and make money online.

Wpkube – a WordPress Resource site

Wpkube Review
Devesh launched this blog in June of last year and quickly obtained a Goggle Page Rank of 3. On the blog's About page, you can find this short description:

On WPKube, you’ll find reviews, news, hacks, plugins, themes and other resources for the WordPress community from some great community members and much more.

When you take a look at the site, you'll find that most of the articles are written by Devesh and focus on tutorials and news surrounding the WordPress blogging platform. Many of the how-to articles are for more advanced WordPress bloggers and designers and involve adding code to the core php files of a blog.

Wpkube Theme Reviews

In addition to WordPress tutorials, the blog also provides reviews of classic premium themes like Thesis, Elegant Themes, Studio Press and new-comer Allure Themes for women. This is a great site to get you started in your search for a new blog theme. If you're having a problem getting set-up with a new theme and need some help, contact Devesh and he'll respond to you within hours.

Blog Engage Guest Posting Contest Sponsor

For the month of June, Wpkube is sponsoring the Blog Engage Guest posting contest which will help put the site in the spotlight. But the attention will continue long after the contest. With Devesh at the helm, I'm sure Wpkube will continue to thrive as an excellent resource for the WordPress blogging community.

  2. I like the logo of Wpkube. I don’t recall using the site in the past. I wonder how the promotion of the site will be made.

Nonetheless, having the ability to install themes on wordpress helps save time compared to the design of an html page (from scratch) in my opinion.

People are finally starting to see the power behind WP, resource sites seem to be popping up more often now.

Did I mention your super tiny font before?

    1. Hi Dennis, we talked about the font before and I have an idea what the problem might be. First I need to know what browser you’re using, let me know and I’ll troubleshoot.
      Thanks!

      1. I don’t want this to stop you from troubleshooting, but on return to this post, the font is fine???

    2. Hi Dennis,

The simple hack to increase the font if your are using windows is to hold Shift key in your keyword and simultaneously press minus (-) key or Pulse (+) key fit the blog screen to your monitor’s screen better readability. This should solve the problem.

      1. Imran, thanks for that tip! I had a similar tip for Chrome users which is CTRL + and CTRL minus. With Chrome it will remember your settings on a given website and use them as the default when you return to the site.

Dennis – let me know if you are using Windows and if either of these tips helps. 🙂

      2. Hey Imran, thanks for the tip, I’ll definitely keep this one in storage!

I’ll also shoot you a trackback backlink after confirmation of usefulness when I write it up as a mini-tutorial for my readers. 😉

  4. Hi Ileane,

I agree with you Devesh is awesome young blogger and achieve a lot in his young age. that is what smart bloggers are always a head of all traditional bloggers.

However wordpress have become very popular from past few years and I simply love it… It is the only open source blogging software I enjoyed working, I have also worked with joomla and drupal but wordpress is the best..

    1. Hi Imran, I haven’t used Drupal or Joomla but I’m stuck on WordPress now so I’m glad you give it your vote!
Devesh is pretty awesome and just imagine where he’ll be this time next year. Btw – are you a member over at Blokube? If so, let me know so I can check out your submissions.

      Thanks for everything Imran!

  5. Great initiative and well deserved featuring Devesh here and his WPKube blog Ileane. Dev is not only an awesome blogger who really reaches out to help people, but is very supportive as well. I can say this from experience because he helped Michele and I, a great deal to solve some “bugs” on WordPress Junkies. Not your average “young” fella… If he keeps this up, he is going a long way for sure.

    1. Hi DiTesco, It sounds like Devesh is helping many of us tweak our blogs and websites to perfection! He has helped Nikki with her blog and I know that he’s worked with Ana Hoffman too. Thanks for the feedback!

  6. Hey Ileane! Thanks for sharing this resource. I also use Thesis and I love when I can find Thesis specific tips, as I would like to become better at working with it.
